I’m getting settled, so I thought I’d write an entry.
I’ve been out here for a week and a half now, and things are going great. During my week before going back to work, I found a place to permanently live, and I’ll move there in a few weeks. It has a nice view and is close to work (it’s in Redmond). For the first time, I’ll have a garage, which is not only convenient for parking, but so I can do my own oil changes on the car.
It’s been rainy, as I’m sure most have heard on the news. No, we didn’t break the record, but it hasn’t exactly been torrential downpours either. But even small amounts of rain add up and hence the mudslides and such. For where I go, I’m not impacted (so far?) but there are other areas in the state that have had major problems. Hopefully nothing really bad happens.
Cedar Point opens in about 106 days, and I’m not going to let something as insignificant as 2000 miles (3200 km) keep me from going. 
I can’t wait to go!
Once I get the new place and such I’ll take some pictures so you can see things. Until then, see ya’z.
