My Home Network

Sometimes I’m asked about my home network setup, so here’s some information to describe just what today’s geek with a multitude of technology has running in his home.

Given this is pretty extensive, I’m breaking it down into subpages.  And if you’re seeing this now, you’re seeing me in the middle of entering it all in and make the layout for all this.  Congrats on being on the ball regarding my blog! :)   For simplicity I suggest going through things in this order:

  1. Home Network Overview
  2. Connecting to the Internets
  3. Wired Network
    1. Callout: Windows Home Server
    2. Callout: Windows Vista Home Premium
      1. Media Center Experience
      2. Zune
  4. Wireless Network

While this has nothing to do with working at Microsoft, I will still give the standard disclaimer.  This information is provided “AS IS” without warranty, and confers no rights.  Also, Microsoft, Windows, Windows Vista, and the Windows Logo are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and/or other countries.

Ok, with that out of the way, let’s get started, shall we?  Head off to Home Network Overview and I’ll give a quick summary about what’s going on.
